The reading room of the main library is visited by several thousand people every day. Almost 10 years after opening, it is still characterised by a high degree of tidiness and cleanliness. There has been no major or permanent soiling of tables and floors. In addition, the number of thefts of stock is low compared to this long period of time.

As university library we are reliant on bag checks at the entrance. These checks are carried out as random checks according to a fixed, alternating scheme. We ask for your understanding and co-operation for the benefit of all users and also to support the cleaning staff.
