Lockers

For students of Heidelberg University and for members of the University who have a ServiceCard, cashless lockers are available for one day on the ground floor of the library in the Old Town. If these lockers are not reopened at the end of opening hours, a fee of 2.00 euros will be charged, which will be collected in cash or entered in the user account (see § 9.1 of the Fee Regulations).

Coin-operated lockers (€2 coin as a deposit) are available for all users of the University Library in the corridors of the basement and ground floor of the main library or on the ground floor or 3rd floor of the branch library. If the lockers are not vacated by the end of opening hours, the deposit will be forfeited.

You can obtain change from a change machine in the entrance area of the reading room or in the Neuenheimer Feld branch in the circulation area on the 3rd floor.
